Internet Usage Adage

The number of hoaxes circulating seems to have gone down in the last few years, but I still get a lot of questions about “trusting” the internet. In an effort to give people a reasonably reliable and easy to remember way of evaluating what they read, I wrote the following little adage:

Its FALSE if it comes to you,
but if you found it, its probably TRUE.

I wonder how much headaches and money would have been saved if everyone was forced to memorize this little saying?
